Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an M/E Engineer 2 to support routine mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities. You will gather data, assist in developing estimates, and generate systems and bid analyses to support project strategy and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or related field is required.
• 2+ years construction and/or engineering experience is required.
• Strong ability to read and understand plans/drawings and coordinate M/E scope of work.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities with supervision.
• Develops budgetary M/E estimates using program and schematic information.
• Reviews shop drawings and assists in bid analysis and subcontractor coordination.
• Participates in commissioning, functional testing, and pre-functional checklists.
• Develops sequencing requirements for M/E systems to meet schedule.
