Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a part-time MDS Nurse to lead nursing staff and drive quality resident care. The role includes coordinating assessments, directing care plans and contributing to the RAC-RAI process.

The position requires an RN license, with a Bachelor’s in nursing preferred; RAC-CT or supervisory experience is a plus. Expect 24 hours per week, daytime shifts, and on-call rotation every 4 weeks.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN or AACN accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience as licensed nurse with seniors preferred.
• RAC-CT, management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license with state board; multistate licensure acceptable.
• CEU and competency training; active professional affiliation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate nursing staff activities for resident care.
• Lead RAC/RAI process; complete resident assessments quarterly and annually.
• Coordinate care, educate residents and families; collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed personnel.
