Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a part-time MDS Nurse (RN) to lead nursing staff and manage Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) processes. The role requires coordination of care, assessment updates and collaboration with residents, families, and clinicians.

The position supports 24 hours per week with day shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and includes an on-call RN rotation every 4th week. A nursing degree and licensure are required, with on-site responsibilities in a Christian not-for-profit

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Experience as licensed nurse with senior population preferred.
• RAC-CT certification or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate nursing staff activities.
• Lead Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) processes.
• Assess and update care plans; coordinate resident care and education.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff as needed.
