Job summary

The MDS Nurse at Good Samaritan Pipestone provides leadership in resident assessment and care planning for seniors, using independent nursing judgment to evaluate care plans and coordinate the RA I process. You will serve as a direct lead for assessments and collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.

As an RN, you will apply nursing standards across all care phases, supervise licensed and unlicensed staff on the floor, and ensure safe,

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN or AACN accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience working as licensed nurse with the senior population preferred.
• Resident Assessment Coordinator-Certified (RAC-CT) or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate nursing staff activities.
• Lead RA I process and resident assessments.
• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and other providers.
