Job summary

The Pines Retirement of Baton Rouge is seeking a MDS RN Coordinator to lead the resident assessment and care-planning process in the facility.

The MDS Nurse will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure high-quality care, maintain the daily Medicare census, and audit charts to support MDS assessments and care plans while ensuring cost-effective operations. An active RN license in the state is required to perform this role.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently registered with the State nursing licensure board.
• Hold a valid nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor resident assessments and care plans.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure quality care.
• Maintain daily Medicare census and submit information to Billing as required.
• Audit charts to support MDS assessments and care plans.
