Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services LLC seeks an MDS/PDPM RN to plan, organize, and direct the MDS/PDPM process in accordance with federal and state standards for our facility in Florida.

You will monitor Medicare/Managed Care resident care, maintain MDS schedules, coordinate the Resident Assessment Instrument, and work with the interdisciplinary team to ensure timely submissions and accurate care plans.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida RN license is required.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in a similar setting.
• 6+ months experience as an MDS Coordinator.
• RAC-CT or RNAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document the management of the Medicare and Managed Care residents in collaboration with facility team members.
• Maintain and update schedules of MDS’s.
• Oversee the coordination and participate in the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS, CAA’s and Care Plan)
• Assist in completion of the Resident Assessment with the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Assure that MDS, RAI process and Care plans are completed and transmitted timely.
• Assist in audits, denials and ADRs as requested by CES.
