Job summary

The Orchards at Roseville is seeking a dedicated MDS Coordinator to oversee staff development and education for the nursing team. You will lead orientation for all new hires and provide ongoing education to ensure compliance and high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include participating in leadership meetings, maintaining education records, and coordinating on-call coverage. Strong communication and organizational skills, plus a valid RN/LPN license, are essential.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license required.
• Knowledge of skilled nursing facilities survey process and regulations helpful.
• Prior nurse management or education experience preferred.
• Long term care experience required.
• Must be able to work 40 hours a week.
• Must be highly organized, professional and motivated.
• Solid computer skills and strong communication are essential.
• Friendly and a team worker.

Responsibilities

• Conduct New Hire Orientation for all new hires at the facility.
• Deliver ad hoc and scheduled education to nursing department and staff as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation for the nursing team.
• Attend and participate in leadership meetings daily, monthly, weekly as needed.
• Maintain competency and education records for nursing and CNA staff.
• Inform DON of persistent issues related to non-compliant documentation.
• Protect confidentiality of resident and facility information at all times.
