Job summary

Priority Management Group, LLC is seeking a licensed nurse (LPN/LVN or RN) to oversee accurate MDS-related processes in a nursing facility, focusing on admission through discharge and strict adherence to policy and federal/state guidelines.

The incumbent will apply knowledge of managed care rules, require strong organizational skills, and coordinate education for the clinical team, while upholding an Equal Opportunity Employer policy.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN) in the state.
• Three years of MDS experience in a nursing facility preferred.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Working knowledge of managed care rules and guidelines.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, and policies for quality care.
• Must pass a background test.

Responsibilities

• Complete the RAI and care management processes from admission to discharge.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Certification guidelines.
• Coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical department.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for timely and accurate completion of both the RAI process and care management process from admission to discharge in accordance with company policy and procedures, and Federal, State and Certification guidelines, and all other entities as appropriate- Minimum Data Set, discharge and admission tracking, etc. With direction from the VP of Clinical Reimbursement, may coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical department.
