Job summary

Priority Management is seeking an MDS Nurse in Leesville, LA. You will ensure timely and accurate completion of the RAI/MDS processes and care management from admission to discharge according to policy and regulatory guidelines.

Candidates should hold an active LA LPN/RN license and preferably have 2 years of MDS experience in a nursing facility, plus knowledge of rehabilitative nursing practices and managed care rules.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an LPN or RN in LA state.
• Two (2) years’ MDS experience in a nursing care facility preferred.
• Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Must have a working knowledge of managed care rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs and procedures for quality care.

Responsibilities

Responsible for timely and accurate completion of both the RAI process and care management process from admission to discharge in accordance with company policy and procedures, and Federal, State and Certification guidelines, and all other entities as appropriate- Minimum Data Set, discharge and admission tracking, etc. With direction from the VP of Clinical Reimbursement, may coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical department.
