Job summary

Resthaven Living Center in Louisiana is seeking an MDS Nurse to lead timely completion of RAI and care management from admission to discharge, in line with company policy and federal/state guidelines.

Under direction from the VP of Clinical Reimbursement, you may coordinate information systems education for clinical staff and ensure accurate data, contributing to high-quality resident care. This role requires an active LA nursing license and MDS experience in a nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Active LA nursing license (LPN or RN) required.
• Three years’ MDS experience in a nursing care facility preferred.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Working knowledge of managed care rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely and accurate completion of the RAI process and care management from admission to discharge per company policy and guidelines.
• Coordinate information systems operations and education for the clinical department under VP supervision.
