Qualifications

• MDS experience is required.
• Current State Nurse License is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Knowledge and training in all aspects of the MDS process.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on federal and state regulations and professional standards.
• Assist with development of comprehensive care plans with the MDS team.
• Coordinate and monitor the written plan of care for each resident.
• Assist nursing management with discharge coordination and review of nurse notes.
• Ensure accuracy of MDS documentation for regulatory/auditor requirements.
• Conduct regular audits of documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety precautions.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents' health information.
