Job summary

Beaumont Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Indiana seeks an experienced MDS Nurse to manage MDS assessments, promote accurate coding, and coordinate with the RN Coordinator to align care plans and reimbursement. You will ensure documentation reflects the plan of care and supports quality reporting.

Responsibilities include scheduling monthly and event-driven MDS tasks, reviewing ICD-10 coding, training staff, and collaborating with IDT to optimize care and compliance.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana RN or LPN license
• English language proficiency required
• AANAC certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MDS assessments for admissions, readmissions, quarterly, annual and significant changes.
• Review and ensure accurate ICD-10 coding and physician query processes.
• Conduct in-service trainings on care plans and documentation.
• Monitor EMR charting and ensure consistency with the care plan.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing and IDT to optimize care and reimbursement.
