Job summary

Serenity Estates of Daytona Beach is seeking a dedicated MDS Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will coordinate the facility's RAI process, complete MDS assessments, and implement comprehensive individual care plans for residents.

The role involves leading interdisciplinary care plan meetings and ensuring accurate documentation to support insurance and regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of RN experience, including supervisory roles, and preferably MDS completion experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the state.
• 3 years' RN experience, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• MDS completion experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the facility's RAI process in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Complete accurate MDS assessments and supporting documentation.
• Implement and evaluate each resident's comprehensive plan of care.
• Schedule and lead interdisciplinary care plan team meetings.
• Audit medical records for supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with health plans, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team for insurance approvals and coverage criteria.
• Interpret rules, regulations, and coverage guidelines.
• Utilize the current RAI Manual during the assessment coding process.
• Communicate with the interdisciplinary team for timely completion of assessments.
• Report any issues with timeliness to the Administrator.
• Participate in all life safety and emergency drills and trainings.
• Report work-related injuries and illnesses immediately to supervisor.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MDS Nurse to join our team at Serenity Estates of Daytona Beach. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents by coordinating the facility's Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, completing accurate MDS assessments, and implementing comprehensive plans of care.

Requirements:

• Must have 3 years' experience as a registered nurse, one of which includes supervisory experience

• Experience with MDS completion preferred
