Daytona Beach Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our team as an MDS Coordinator.
This position is ideal for an RN interested in moving into a primarily administrative nursing role while continuing to use strong clinical assessment, documentation, and critical-thinking skills. The MDS Coordinator works closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure resident assessments, care plans, and supporting documentation are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable requirements.
Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the MDS Coordinator leads the interdisciplinary resident-assessment process. This role uses clinical and functional information to support comprehensive assessments and individualized care plans centered on each resident’s needs, preferences, and goals.
The ideal candidate will have excellent documentation and assessment skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively coordinate with nursing, therapy, dietary, social services, and other members of the care team.
