Job summary

The Arboretum of Winnie in Denton, TX is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator to ensure accurate resident assessments and compliant care planning. You will collaborate with nursing and other departments to coordinate admissions, annual, quarterly, and change-of-condition assessments.

You will maintain MDS data and care plans, lead interdisciplinary meetings, and ensure timely submission of MDS data per reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Nursing License in good standing.
• Experience in geriatric nursing and resident-centered care.
• Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities accurately.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admission, annual, quarterly, Medicare, and change-of-condition assessments.
• Ensure timely communication with nursing and other departments.
• Maintain accurate MDS data entry and reporting.
• Lead interdisciplinary meetings (Medicaid, ITTM, care plan).
• Update care plans based on current assessments.
• Generate Quality Indicators Reports for leadership.
• Submit MDS data per reporting standards.
• Stay current with industry standards through professional development.
• Oversee ancillary data reporting to corporate billing.
