Job summary

Apploi is seeking an RN MDS Coordinator for a long-term care facility in Fort Smith, AR. The role focuses on federally mandated assessments, data compilation, and determining functional capacity and reimbursement under CMS RUG-IV guidelines.

You will manage OBRA, PPS, MDS, and care plan coordination, ensuring timely ARD scheduling and adherence to the RAI manual. Collaborative execution with the IDT and documentation reviews are essential to success.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• Optional: MDS Certification - AANAC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate OBRA, PPS, and MDS assessments and documentation.
• Prepare all MDS forms, care plans, and ARD schedules.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly OBRA calendar and weekly schedules.
• Maintain CMS guidelines for OBRA/PPS submissions and data integrity.
• Coordinate MDS interviews and documentation for ARD/observation periods.
• Oversee and coordinate care plans with IDT and ensure proper documentation.
