Job summary

Aria Nursing & Rehab is seeking an RN MDS Coordinator to manage and coordinate the MDS, CAAs, and care planning in line with PDPM and other payer requirements. The role ensures regulatory compliance and supports reimbursement optimization.

The MDS Coordinator will supervise staff, provide training, perform evaluations, and ensure accurate documentation. A strong knowledge of RAI and related processes is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Prior MDS/RAI experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of PDPM, ICD-10 coding and care planning processes.
• Knowledge of RAI process and PPS principles preferred.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
• Plans, assigns and directs work ensuring patient safety and staff capability.
• Prepares performance evaluations impacting tenure and wage increases.
• Receives calls and finds replacements for absent staff.
• Monitors and evaluates employee performance as requested.
