Job summary

Genesis seeks a Licensed Registered Nurse in Gettysburg to support high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with the Patient Assessment Process, MDS items, and collaborative care planning to meet regulatory requirements.

You will ensure appropriate reimbursement for services, participate in RAI processes, and mentor staff through ongoing education. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed by the state and in good standing.
• Previous experience in a hospital, long-term facility, or other healthcare related facility is required.
• Prior experience completing MDSs and Care Plans is required
• Knowledge of MDS/CAAs and RAI guidelines and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate reimbursement for patient care services.
• Participate in Patient Assessment Process through MDS and CAAs.
• Assist in developing individualized care plans and identify patient needs.
• Contribute to the RAI process with guidance on encoding and transmission of MDS.
• Identify changes in patient condition with the interdisciplinary team and schedule assessments.
• Provide Activities of Daily Living training and ongoing staff education.
• Attend educational programs to stay current with RAI/PPS regulations.
