Job summary

Genesis Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee patient assessments and ensure proper reimbursement through MDS and CAAs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations for long-term care facilities.

You will participate in the RAI process, coordinate assessments, and contribute to ongoing education for staff on MDS, care plans, and regulatory guidelines to improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed by the state in good standing.
• Previous experience in a hospital, long-term facility, or other healthcare setting is required.
• Prior experience completing MDSs and Care Plans is required.
• Knowledge of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices and relevant regulations in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing individualized patient care plans and identify needs and outcomes per regulations.
• Contribute to the RAI process with MDS, CAAs, and data transmission requirements.
• Identify changes in patient condition with the team and coordinate assessments.
• Support Activities of Daily Living training for new hires and ongoing staff education.
• Attend educational programs to stay updated on RAI/Prospective Payment System regulations.
