Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have MDS/PPS experience.
• Must be fluent in MDS 3.0.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident assessments (admission, annual, quarterly, Medicare, and change-of-condition).
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Federal and State guidelines for MDS.
• Monitor MDS and care plan documentation for accuracy and organization.
• Maintain MDS software expertise to ensure correct data entry and reporting.
• Lead interdisciplinary meetings for Medicaid, ITTM, and care plans.
• Update care plans based on current assessments and resident status.
• Provide quality reporting to leadership to support care improvement.
• Submit MDS data per reporting standards.
• Stay current with professional development to keep up with industry standards.
• Oversee ancillary data and report to corporate billing for accurate processing.
