Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator in Oklahoma City to manage the nursing components of the RAI MDS, HCFA Medicare, DADS and RMHP programs. Responsibilities include screening for skilled care, admissions, nursing documentation, and MDS scheduling with interdisciplinary collaboration.

The role requires active RN or LVN licensure in the state and ongoing background checks. The coordinator will work closely with the DON to ensure compliant documentation and high-quality resident

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with active state licensure.
• Requires license maintained per state Board of Nurse Examiners and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Medicare MDS processes and RUG assignments.
• Maintain MDS schedules and ensure timely encoding, editing and transmission.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans.
• Assist with admission screenings, discharge planning and pre-admission screenings.
• Support the DON and ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and review MDS data and coding for accuracy and compliance.
