Job summary

MGM Healthcare is seeking a Regional MDS Coordinator (RN or LPN) based in Oklahoma to oversee MDS/RAI processes across facilities. You will ensure accurate assessments, coding, and documentation, collaborating with the Director of Nursing and IDT teams.

Travel to Oklahoma centers is required; the role includes training staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing reimbursement through timely ADRs and QA reporting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• MDS experience preferred; willing to train.
• RN or LPN with active license.

Responsibilities

• Understand regulations related to MDS/RAI (federal/state).
• Participate in pre-admission to obtain MDS/Case Mix data and Medicaid eligibility where applicable.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing to ensure timely nursing documentation and risk assessments.
• Lead training on the RAI process for staff and assess competency of team.
• Prepare and submit Additional Documentation Requests (ADRs) and revenue audits.
• Maintain MDS and related documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
