Job summary

AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified MDS Coordinator to join our family in Texas. The role focuses on completing the RAI process for residents and ensuring transmission and verification with the State, with a emphasis on building and leading a high-performing team and culture.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas RN license, CPR certification, and at least one year of supervisory experience in a hospital or skilled nursing setting, with strong knowledge of long-term care regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas nursing license.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
• Knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete the RAI process for each resident of the facility, including transmission and verification of receipt by the State.
• Lead and develop a high-performing MDS team and culture.
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations governing long-term care.

We are searching for a Licensed MDS Coordinator who is resident & family focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing team and culture. The primary purpose is to complete the RAI process for each resident of the facility, as required by State and Federal regulations. This includes transmission and verification of receipt by the State.
