AVIR Health Group seeks a qualified MDS Coordinator to join our team in Texas. The role centers on completing the RAI process for each resident and ensuring timely transmission and verification with state authorities.

Experience with MDS processes and a solid understanding of timelines is preferred. The ideal candidate holds a Texas nursing license with CPR certification and at least one year of supervisory healthcare experience, plus solid knowledge of federal and state long-term care

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations per Federal Register and State requirements.

Responsibilities

We are searching for a Licensed MDS Coordinator who is resident & family focused, a team builder, and excited about the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing team and culture. The primary purpose is to complete the RAI process for each resident of the facility, as required byState and Federal regulations. This includes transmission and verification of receipt by the State.

Qualifications for MDS Coordinator:

• Valid Texas Nurse License.

• Valid CPR Certification.

• Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.

• Must possess knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.
