Job summary

CommWell Health in rural North Carolina is seeking a physician to provide direct outpatient primary care, diagnose, treat, and document per protocols, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

You will conduct patient assessments, prescribe medications, order labs or imaging as needed, and manage chronic diseases. You will collaborate with care teams to support patient self-management and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • BLS certificate from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • Full, valid licensure to practice medicine by the NC Board of Medical Examiners.
  • National certification.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

Required:



  • BLS Certificate from American Red Cross or American Heart Association

  • Full, valid licensure to practice medicine by the NC Board of Medical Examiners

  • National certification


Preferred:



  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience

  • Experience with underserved or rural populations

  • Familiarity with team-based care or PCMH/PCHH models
