Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems seeks a Digital Systems Engineer to blend Systems Engineering, MBSE, and technical Project Management to guide requirements, architecture working groups, and system integration across the engineering lifecycle.

You will leverage Model-Based approaches and tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler and Velocity to automate reports, generate ICDs, and ensure traceability from requirements to verification.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
• Master’s degree in aerospace engineering or systems engineering with 2+ years’ experience, or a B.S. in engineering/science/physics with 4+ years’ experience.
• Experience with architectural concepts, BDDS/IBDs, and MBSE tooling (Cameo/No Magic).
• Experience building templates with Velocity to automate reports and docs inside modeling environments.
• Proven ability to lead or coordinate engineering tasks in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent oral communication for briefings and design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE model space and end-to-end architecture with traceability.
• Lead multi-discipline requirements and architecture working groups.
• Develop scripts using Velocity within Cameo to automate reports and ICDs.
• Drive system integration by linking toolsets and data models across lifecycles.
• Perform risk identification and modeling within system architectures.
• Troubleshoot and validate templates for high-quality reports.
