Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a Digital Systems Engineer to blend Systems Engineering, Systems Architecture, and technical Project Management across the engineering lifecycle. You will lead MBSE activities, establish traceability from requirements to verification, and support automated documentation using Velocity scripts in Cameo Systems Modeler.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance, with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to delivering integrated

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
• Master’s degree with 2+ years or Bachelor’s with 4+ years in related fields.
• Experience building architectural concepts and model-based configurations in Cameo or No Magic tools.
• Experience creating template scripts (Apache Velocity) to automate reports and documentation inside modeling environments.
• Ability to lead tasks and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead MBSE conceptual modeling to capture stakeholder requirements and establish end-to-end architecture and traceability.
• Form a multi-discipline requirements and architecture working groups to align development with milestones.
• Develop, debug, and implement Velocity scripts within Cameo to auto-generate reports and ICDs.
• Drive system integration by linking toolsets and data models across the product lifecycle.
• Perform risk identification and risk management modeling within architectures.
• Perform template validation and ensure data consistency across model repositories.
