Job summary

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks interns to support Systems Engineering with MBSE and Digital Engineering. You will contribute to concept and requirements development, and assist with mission engineering-to-test integration, applying MBSE best practices in defense programs.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a STEM degree, familiar with C++ on Linux, Python, MATLAB, SysML, and OOSEM, and comfortable working in team and independent settings.

Qualifications

• Interest in MBSE and Digital Engineering
• Pursuing a degree in a STEM field related to systems engineering
• Demonstrated problem solving in technical areas
• Familiarity with programming languages and methodologies
• Teamwork and independent work capability
• Previous internship/co-op or relevant experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Minimum 3.0 GPA, transcripts requested
• Eligibility for Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship
