Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a seasoned Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the MDA/DTTC program. You will develop SysML models, trace requirements, and integrate MBSE with simulations while collaborating with government leads and contractors.

7+ years in missile defense or large-scale DoD programs, active DoD Secret clearance, and proficiency with MBSE tools are required to help prepare for SRR, PDR, and CDR milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience with SysML and DoDAF/UAF frameworks.
• Background in model-based systems engineering for DoD programs.
• Ability to create traceable architecture artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SysML-based system models and architectures.
• Trace requirements to architecture artifacts and support reviews.
• Integrate MBSE with simulations and data tools; support baseline reviews.
• Perform interface analyses and trade studies to resolve risks.
