Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions is seeking a motivated systems engineer to contribute to turbine engine technology programs in aerospace and defense. You will work across the full lifecycle, develop requirements, create design documentation, and maintain Cameo models while interfacing with internal teams and customers.

The role emphasizes MBSE, leadership, and strong communication within a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Travel to customer locations is expected<25% of the time.

Qualifications

• Experience developing system requirements, system designs, and verification documentation.
• Leadership experience in Defense/Aerospace programs.
• Experience with MBSE and Cameo.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architectures for new and existing systems.
• Analyze requirements and allocate to subsystems.
• Create system design documentation and interface definitions.
• Lead or support system engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Develop verification plans and test reports; support HWIL testing.
