Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions in Huntsville, AL seeks a senior systems engineer to provide full lifecycle engineering leadership across radar and hypersonic programs. You will develop requirements, architectures, and verification plans while leveraging Cameo and MBSE across multiple teams.

Expect interface with customers, leadership, and project stakeholders. The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, clear communication, and demonstrated technical leadership, with travel to customer

Qualifications

• Experience developing system requirements, designs, and verification documentation.
• Experience in Defense/Aerospace is required.
• Radar and/or hypersonics experience is desirable; UAS experience is a plus.
• MBSE and Cameo experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements, decompose and allocate to subsystems.
• Develop system architectures for new and existing systems.
• Conduct trade studies to determine optimal requirements and architecture.
• Create system/subsystem design documentation and interface definitions.
• Develop and execute system verification and MBSE processes.
• Lead or support system engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Develop, review Cameo models for stakeholders and proposals.
• Prepare test plans and reports; participate in HWIL and subsystem tests.
