Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions seeks a highly motivated Systems Engineer to contribute to radar and hypersonic programs in aerospace and defense. The role requires full lifecycle systems engineering, with experience in developing requirements, designing systems, and creating design documentation.

The successful candidate will lead or support MBSE efforts using Cameo, interface with project teams and customers, and participate in system verification and reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience developing system requirements, system designs, and verification documentation.
• Experience working within the Defense and/or Aerospace industry is a must.
• Experience in radar systems and/or hypersonics is desired; unmanned aircraft systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing customer/stakeholder requirements and deriving requirements for system and subsystems.
• Developing system architectures for new and existing systems.
• Leading or supporting system engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Developing MBSE processes, templates, and best practices.
• Traveling to customer locations as needed (<25%).
