Job summary

Kratos Unmanned Systems is seeking a motivated systems engineer to contribute to full lifecycle engineering for turbine engine tech programs in aerospace/defense. You will develop requirements, create system designs, generate Cameo models, and interface with project teams and customers.

The role involves MBSE processes, leading reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR), and travel to customer locations (<25%). Bachelor or Master in related engineering and 5–10 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience developing system requirements, designs, and verification documentation.
• Experience with MBSE and Cameo.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, decompose and allocate to systems and subsystems.
• Develop system architectures for new and existing systems.
• Perform trade studies and design research to optimize architecture.
• Create interface definitions, system schematics and system description documents.
• Develop and execute system verification.
