Job summary

Venturi, LLC, a Chenega Company, is seeking an MBSE Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. The role applies SysML and digital engineering to create and maintain system models, tracing requirements and supporting baseline reviews with government leads and primes.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform interface analyses, and ensure configuration management across MBSE artifacts, while maintaining compliance with DoD processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years supporting missile defense or large-scale, complex DoD programs.
• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Successfully pass background and drug screening
• Preferred: Systems Engineer, CS, SW Eng, STEM degree
• Preferred: Experience with MDA programs (Targets and Countermeasures, GMD, THAAD, Aegis BMD, or C2BMC)
• OCSMP certification (Fundamental, Intermediate, or Advanced)
• Experience with MBSE tools and requirement management tools (DOORS, Cameo) and issue-tracking platforms (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience integrating MBSE models with MATLAB/Simulink or Python

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain descriptive system models using SysML across MDA programs.
• Map system-level requirements to architecture artifacts with end-to-end traceability.
• Support Digital Engineering by linking MBSE models with tools, simulations, and data repositories.
• Prepare artifacts for major milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, CCBs).
• Conduct architectural trade studies and model system interfaces to resolve risks.
• Maintain version control and configuration baseline compliance for SysML models.
• Perform other duties as assigned
