Job summary

APEX TK is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the Targets and Countermeasures program office at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). You will develop descriptive SysML models and ensure end-to-end traceability across systems.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree, and 7+ years in missile defense or similar DoD programs, with hands-on MBSE tool experience (Cameo, DOORS, Jira/Confluence). On-site in Huntsville, Alabama.

Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in missile defense or large-scale DoD programs.
Proficiency in SysML and core systems engineering frameworks (DoDAF, UAF) and MBSE tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SysML system models across MDA programs.
Ensure requirements traceability from system to architecture artifacts.
Support Digital Engineering initiatives by linking models with tools and data sources.
Assist in creating model-centric artifacts for SRR, PDR, CDR, and CCBs.
Perform architectural trade studies and analyze ICDs/IDDs for interfaces.
Maintain configuration and data management for SysML models.
