Job summary

Workiva Inc. offers a sustainability graduate internship designed to apply academic knowledge to real-world corporate sustainability challenges.

You will conduct research on best practices and reporting frameworks, support the development of disclosures, and prepare reports with a focus on driving Workiva's sustainability narrative. You'll collaborate with the Director of Global Sustainability and cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to governance, reporting, and analytics, while

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a master's degree program focusing on Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field.
• Preferred familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, CSRD, ISSB, CDP, MSCI, EcoVadis, Sustainalytics).
• Experience using AI to automate research tasks and write prompts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Meet, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Calendar).

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on sustainability best practices and industry trends, as well as emerging sustainability reporting frameworks to inform Workiva’s non-financial disclosure strategy.
• Support the development of sustainability reporting and disclosures.
• Prepare reports and presentations on sustainability performance and progress.
• Collect and analyze sustainability-related data.
• Contribute to the development of communication materials to enhance Workiva’s sustainability narrative.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support positioning Workiva as a global leader in sustainability management.
