Job summary

Humana Inc. in Louisville, KY invites MBA and other advanced-degree students to join its Summer 2027 Internship Program, offering meaningful, enterprise-level work across multiple business areas and exposure to executive leadership.

Interns collaborate on strategic planning, research, and performance initiatives, with an emphasis on quality improvement, operating model advancement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in MBA or another advanced professional degree program, with an expected graduation date in spring or summer 2028
• Available to work full time, 40 hours per week, May 24, 2027 through August 13, 2027
• Must work in-person 3-4 days per week at multiple US locations (Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Louisville, KY; Nashville, TN)
• Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future
• Minimum of three years of professional experience completed before graduate school
• Demonstrated leadership across experiences with a record of guiding teams and delivering results

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic planning, research, and portfolio management for assigned business areas
• Support cross-functional initiatives and governance readiness efforts
• Engage with senior leaders and participate in enterprise-level decision support and performance improvement
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable projects and measurable outcomes
