Job summary

Harvard Business School is seeking an Assistant Director, Operations for MBA Admissions & Financial Aid. You will serve as the technical and systems lead, directing Slate and related platforms, data governance, and cross-functional collaboration to support recruitment, application review, and financial aid processes.

You will partner with Admissions, Financial Aid, and MBA IT to design scalable workflows, ensure data security, and optimize user experience for students and staff in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in higher education, admissions, financial aid, operations, systems administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience administering complex data systems and leading cross-functional technical or operational projects.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and systems strategy across MBA Admissions and Financial Aid, aligning platform capabilities with program priorities and cycles.
• Serve as primary technology lead and main contact for IT and Technolutions on upgrades, requests, and improvements.
• Translate operational requirements into scalable workflows, forms, portals, reports, and processes across Slate, PowerFaids, and SIS.
