Job summary

USC Marshall School of Business is seeking an Admissions Counselor to support recruitment and admissions for Working Professionals in MBA programs. You will engage prospective students, manage relationships, and participate in evaluation and selection of applicants.

Ideal candidates will have 3 years of admissions experience, know Salesforce and Microsoft Office, and be able to coordinate events, interviews, and committee discussions. travel and evening/weekend work required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three years of experience in admissions.
• Experience recruiting and advising working professionals, adult learners, or nontraditional students.
• Knowledge of Salesforce used in higher education admissions or related function.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Executes recruitment and outreach strategies to attract qualified prospective students to MBA programs for Working Professionals and manages relationships throughout the recruitment funnel.
• Conducts proactive outreach and advising via phone, email, web conferences, information sessions, and presentations.
• Plans, coordinates, and participates in recruitment activities and delivers presentations to various audiences.
• Develops and maintains relationships with prospective student populations, corporate partners, alumni, and external stakeholders.
• Collaborates with marketing and communications to implement recruitment campaigns and engagement strategies.
• Maintains accurate records of interactions in CRM/database systems and uses data to monitor engagement and plan recruitment.
