Mt. Hood Meadows is seeking a Mazot Cashier to join the Culinary Services team on a full-time seasonal basis.
Your office is a scenic mountainside outpost accessible by ski or snowboard, where you’ll take guest orders, prepare items, and help create memorable mountain experiences. Two years of high-volume restaurant experience and Oregon Food Handler’s Card with OLCC Permit are required, plus the ability to ski or snowboard to the Mazot.
Do you thrive in high-energy environments, love the outdoors, and have a passion for great food and exceptional guest experiences? Join our Culinary Services team at Mt. Hood Meadows as a Mazot Cashier, where your “office” is a scenic mountainside outpost accessible only by ski or snowboard.
This is not your typical food service job, it’s a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment surrounded by some of the most stunning winter views in the Pacific Northwest. You’ll take guest orders, prepare food and beverages, and help create memorable mountain experiences while keeping the outdoor seating area clean, safe, and welcoming. From setting up the deck to shoveling snow, you’ll play an important role in keeping the Mazot running smoothly throughout the day.
We’re looking for experienced restaurant professionals who enjoy working independently, thrive in a busy service environment, and take pride in delivering great hospitality. Candidates must have at least two years of high-volume restaurant experience, an Oregon Food Handler’s Card, an OLCC Service Permit, and the ability to ski or snowboard to and from the Mazot. If you’re looking for an adventure-filled role with a great team and a pretty incredible mountain commute, this could be the job for you. Bonus points if you can carve a clean line through fresh powder before your shift starts.
