Job summary
Southern Company seeks an Infrastructure Solutions Architect to lead enterprise platform technologies, focusing on IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS), OpenShift, Oracle, and related services.
You will define architecture standards, roadmaps, and modern environment strategies while partnering with multiple teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise services. The role requires senior technical leadership and collaboration across vendors and internal groups.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8+ years in supporting enterprise application platforms, infrastructure architecture, or senior technical leadership.
- Experience with IBM Maximo (Maximo 7.x and MAS 9.x) and OpenShift for containerized platforms.
Responsibilities
- Define platform architecture, standards, and roadmaps for MAS/OpenShift environments.
- Lead upgrades, DR exercises, and environment strategy for enterprise services.
- Provide senior technical leadership for production issues and drive reliability improvements.
