Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, engineering, business, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience with business systems, asset management, data analysis, or related technical work.
• Hands-on SQL querying experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for interpersonal, technical, and administrative challenges.
• Effective written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related software.
• Experience working in an Agile team and familiarity with Agile ceremonies and tools.
• Lean or Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Maximo configurations or data structures gained through work, internships, or coursework.
• Exposure to Agile delivery and product ownership practices (backlog, stories, acceptance criteria).
• Experience translating business requirements into process docs, user stories, acceptance criteria, or functional specs.
• Experience supporting UAT, validating changes, and coordinating issue resolution.
• Basic proficiency in Python and IDE usage for software development.
• Experience documenting decisions and coordinating actions across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides full-time technical support to operations and business unit personnel.
• Performs system testing and documentation during significant changes or upgrades.
• Analyzes root causes and implements technical solutions for complex issues.
• Provides technical leadership in specification, design, and implementation of security center applications and tools.
• Develops and improves processes to increase productivity and reduce risk.
• Documents procedures and guidelines for day-to-day support.
• Travels to power plants for on-site troubleshooting support.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
