Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company seeks an Asset Management Technical Services Specialist to develop Maximo expertise, support asset management system enhancements, and collaborate across teams. You will contribute to program increments and sprints, assist with data validation, and help implement improvements that optimize plant asset performance within the PGD portfolio.

Role requires a strong foundation in information systems or engineering, 2+ years of relevant experience, and fluency with SQL,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience with business systems or asset management.
• Experience using SQL to query relational databases such as Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and related tools.
• Familiarity with Agile ceremonies and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide full‑time technical support to operations and business unit personnel.
• Perform system testing and documentation during changes or upgrades.
• Analyze root causes and implement technical fixes for complex system issues.
• Lead functional specification, design, and implementation for security center tools.
• Develop and improve processes to increase productivity and reduce risk.
