Toll International LLC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Asset Management Analyst to join the Port Department at the Port Authority, supporting the transition to a Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. This role will play a key part in standardizing cost capture, maintenance activities, and reporting across various departments, ensuring efficient asset management for New Jersey Marine Terminal (NJMT) and New York Marine Terminal (NYMT).
Role Description
The Asset Management Analyst will provide full-time, on-site support at NJMT, reporting to the Port Maintenance Asset Manager. The role involves developing and implementing asset management structures, job plans, and accurate reporting systems within IBM Maximo. The analyst will collaborate with cross-departmental teams, support Maximo training, and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement of asset data and reporting processes.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in computer science, engineering, construction management, accounting, economics, or business administration.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience with IBM Maximo 7.6 or higher (or equivalent CMMS) and asset management frameworks.
• Technical Skills: Interpreting architectural or engineering drawings, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and reporting tools like BIRT and Power BI. Familiarity with SAP, PeopleSoft, ESRI, or similar systems is a plus.
• Certifications: Knowledge of regulatory environments, labor standards, and occupational health & safety regulations.
• Develop and standardize asset management structures, job plans, and hierarchies within Maximo.
• Create and maintain accurate back-end reporting using tools like BIRT and Power BI to support planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
• Assist in quality assurance and continuous improvement of Maximo data structures and reporting outputs.
• Coordinate with other departments to integrate Maximo with systems like SAP, PeopleSoft, and ESRI.
• Support Maximo training and develop training materials for the Port Facilities Management team.
• Interpret architectural or engineering drawings to support asset management tasks.
• Document findings and recommendations in draft and final reports, presenting to Authority staff as required.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
• Working knowledge of maintenance management, infrastructure management, or asset lifecycle considerations.
• Ability to interpret regulatory and labor standards for compliance.
• Proficient in managing QA/QC of asset data in Maximo 7.6 or higher.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with staff at all levels and deliver concise presentations.
• Must obtain a SWAC I.D. with associated security clearances immediately upon hiring.
Work Place
• Location: Primary work location is the Port Department at 260 Kellogg, Newark, NJ 07114 (NJMT), with potential travel to other Port Authority sites and offices as required.
• Travel: Flexibility to work at various Port Authority facilities based on project needs.
Work Modality
• On-Site: Full-time, on-site presence at NJMT with a typical workday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including an unpaid lunch hour.
• Flexible Hours: Minimum commitment of 40 hours per week, with potential adjustments to accommodate program needs, onsite traffic, or tenant operations.
