This position will support a Government agency that requires US Citizenship.

Location: Remote. Prefer candidates local to the DMV area.

Job Title and Overview

Datawiz has a current opening for a Software Asset Analyst to support one of our largest Government clients located in Arlington, VA. This is a Junior role, ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience as a Software Asset Analyst. In this role, you will provide support for operational and strategic management of agency IT assets.

Responsibilities

1. Manage software assets data within the designated Asset Repository(s).
2. Maintain software assurance, subscriptions, and maintenance.
3. Conduct software inventory audits, true-ups, and compliance.
4. Ensure software processes are followed by all internal teams and clients.
5. Complete ServiceNow software tickets according to designated processes.
6. Provide forecasting data to ensure license availability.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in software asset management.
• At least one year of experience with ServiceNow.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate thoughts and ideas.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• This position supports a federal government agency that requires US Citizenship and Background Investigation. The candidate must be able to clear the Background Investigation before starting work.
