The Salvation Army USA Western Territory Maui County seeks a Maui Recovery Project Manager to lead disaster response within the Emergency Disaster Services Department.
You will oversee the Maui Wildfire Relief Plan, manage communications, budgeting, inventory, site visits, volunteer placement and data reporting; coordinate mobile support and work with program partners to assist applicants.
A clean driving record is required, and bilingual applicants are encouraged.
Bachelor's degree preferred, however, three years of experience working in social services, with strong knowledge base of local (Maui) resources will qualify. The candidate must have a clean driving record and must successfully complete Decision Driving Safety Test before driving for The Salvation Army and annually recertify as required. He/she must have the ability to do fieldwork in various settings. Experience working disaster recovery is preferred and computer proficiency is required. This is a position in the Emergency Disaster Services Department. Position not to exceed (3) years with the option to extend based on workload and funding.
