Job summary

Makena Golf & Beach Club is seeking a full-time Member Services Attendant in Maui, Hawaii. You will be the primary contact for members and their guests, coordinating reservations, itineraries, transportation, and club amenities to deliver a luxury private club experience.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and committed to high standards of service, with strong communication and teamwork across departments to ensure seamless experiences for members and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in luxury hospitality, private club, hotel, resort, concierge, or customer service.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and reservation software.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Demonstrates respect for Hawaiian values, history and culture in work and community.
• Regular and predictable on-site attendance.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Answer calls, emails, and member inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Coordinate dining reservations, golf tee times, spa appointments, fitness classes, activities, and off-property excursions.
• Prepare customized itineraries for members and their guests.
• Arrange airport transportation and other transportation needs.
• Coordinate arrivals/departures with Residential Services to prepare residences.
• Communicate with F&B, Golf Operations, Outdoor Pursuits, Spa, Retail, Security, Housekeeping, and other departments.
• Maintain member profiles, preferences, reservations, and requests in club systems.
• Assist with planning and execution of club events, tournaments, and activities.
• Monitor daily arrivals, departures, and VIP visits for complete arrangements.
• Resolve member concerns promptly and professionally with a positive attitude.
• Promote club amenities, services, dining experiences, and upcoming events.
• Maintain confidentiality of all member information.
• Complete administrative tasks and data entry; keep area organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Member Services Manager.
