Job summary

Makena Beach & Golf Club, part of Discovery Land Company, is seeking a full-time Member Services Attendant in Maui, Hawaii. You will serve as the primary contact for members and guests, coordinating reservations, itineraries, transport, and club experiences with impeccable hospitality.

Ideal candidates are organized, proactive, and committed to delivering a luxury private club experience, with strong communication and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years in luxury hospitality, private club, hotel, or concierge.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Answer incoming calls, emails, and member inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate dining reservations, golf tee times, spa appointments and classes.
• Prepare customized itineraries for members and their guests.
• Arrange airport transportation and other transportation needs.
• Coordinate arrivals/departures with Residential Services to prep residences.
• Communicate with F&B, Golf Ops, Outdoor Pursuits, Spa, Retail, Security, Housekeeping, and others.
• Maintain accurate member profiles, preferences, reservations, and requests.
• Assist with planning club events, tournaments, and member activities.
• Monitor daily arrivals, departures, and VIP visits to ensure arrangements completed.
• Resolve member concerns promptly with a positive attitude.
• Promote club amenities, dining experiences, and events.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Complete administrative tasks and keep area organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Member Services Manager.

This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Companies' locations: Makena Beach & Golf Club, set in the heart of Maui, Hawaii. Makena Beach & Golf Club is seeking a full-time Member Services Attendant to join the team. The Member Services Attendant serves as the primary point of contact for members and their guests, providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences through personalized attention and seamless coordination. This position is responsible for assisting members with reservations, itineraries, transportation, club amenities, and special requests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and professionalism. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering a luxury private club experience.

What you'll do

• Welcome members and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Answer incoming telephone calls, emails, and member inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Coordinate dining reservations, golf tee times, spa appointments, fitness classes, recreational activities, and off-property excursions.
• Prepare customized itineraries for members and their guests.
• Arrange airport transportation, rental vehicles, and other transportation needs.
• Coordinate member arrivals and departures with Residential Services to ensure residences are prepared according to member preferences.
• Communicate effectively with Food & Beverage, Golf Operations, Outdoor Pursuits, Spa, Retail, Security, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate member profiles, preferences, reservations, and requests within club systems.
• Assist with planning and execution of club events, tournaments, and special member activities.
• Monitor daily arrivals, departures, and VIP visits to ensure all arrangements have been completed.
• Resolve member concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Promote club amenities, services, dining experiences, and upcoming events.
• Maintain confidentiality of all member information.
• Complete administrative tasks including correspondence, reports, filing, and data entry.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Member Services Manager.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in luxury hospitality, private club, hotel, resort, concierge, or customer service.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and reservation software.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
