Job summary

Tempur Sealy in the United States is seeking a Unit Build assembler. You will work in two-person teams to lift encased coil spring mattresses, place them on a table, and glue foam components to complete the unit.

You may also assist with Hybrid Toppers and other departments during high demand. The role is on first shift, requires lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or sitting for long periods.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail.
• Very good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at a fast paced repetitive job.
• Must be able to be trained to achieve Measured Day Work rates.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing and sitting position for a minimum 8 hours or more per shift.

Responsibilities

• Work in two-person teams lifting encased coil spring mattresses and placing them on a waist-high table.
• Glue and assemble semi-rigid foam perimeter pieces and hybrid toppers as required.
• Assist within unit build and support other departments during high demand or staffing shortages.
