Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate tutors who provide service at the Academic Support Center.
• Coordinate tutoring services and assess tutoring effectiveness using data.
• Liaise with the Mathematics Department and Testing and Assessment Office.
• Train tutors in college policies and LSU tutor training program procedures.
• Recruit, hire, and evaluate Developmental/Co-requisite Math tutors in collaboration with the Mathematics Department.
• Apply assessment and statistical methodologies to coordinate student and tutor learning modalities and processes.
• Create scheduling and coordination of Math tutors.
• Maintain accurate records of academic services provided to students in STATS and LMS (e.g. Brightspace).
• Provide assessment reports, including statistical analyses to the Chair of the Department.
• Pursue research on tutorial programs for future development of materials for WCC students (e.g., co-requisite learning, video modules).
• Analyze assessment data, prepare written reports, and communicate findings to division and department.
• Perform other duties as required by the Associate Dean.
